Vaccinations and Immunsations

Childhood Immunisations

When your child is due immunisations, Child Health will write to you asking you to telephone the Surgery to book an appointment.

Children need several immunisations starting at two months old. These prevent potentially serious illnesses such as polio, tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough, measles, mumps and rubella. We have weekly clinics for this but we may be able to offer appointments if you are unable to attend.

For further information please see the NHS website.
