Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

The CQC make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage them to improve.

They monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and publish what is found, including performance ratings to help people choose care.

The below report is for the Heart of Bath Medical Partnership as a whole, NOT just Oldfield Surgery site

Sara Roper, Practice Manager is the CQC registered manager for Heart of Bath.

We are registered with Care Quality Commission which oversees and regulates the Quality of Services offered to patients.

The CQC ensures that patients are cared for in a safe environment by fully qualified and well supported staff who are regularly updated and aware of all policies that support patient safety, dignity and confidentiality.

Our GP Practice has undergone a CQC inspection and the results are below.
