Thank you to everyone who completed the 2025 GP Patient Survey. 66% of patients who responded rated their overall experience of Heart of Bath as good or very good, and 81% found our Reception and Administrative team helpful.
The survey also showed some clear areas where we need to improve. Only around a third of patients who tried to contact us by phone found it easy to get through, and many patients told us they would like to see or speak to the same clinician more often.
In response we are:
• Reviewing our telephone system data to increase staffing at the busiest times and simplify our phone options.
• Making better use of online request options for problems that do not need a same-day phone call.
• Protecting more appointments for follow-up with the same clinician for patients with ongoing or complex needs.
We will keep monitoring patient feedback and GP Patient Survey results and will update you as these changes are implemented.
