Dr P Eavis
Dr Patrick Eavis said farewell to the Heart of Bath Surgery on Wednesday 31st July after 26 years.
We wish Dr Eavis a long and happy retirement.
Dr A Combe
Partner
Working days: Monday and Thursday
MB, ChB(Sheff), MRCGP, Diploma Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Diploma Faculty of Family Planning. Qualified Sheffield 1993.
Dr Combe completed her GP training in Brighton before moving to Bath to become a partner here at the Practice in 1998.
Dr Combe has interests in gynaecology, contraception and sexual health, and also has a special interest in HRT and autism.
Dr A Gadhok
Partner
Working days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
MBBS, MRCP, MRCGP trained in Oxford and London, qualifying in 1999.
Dr Gadhok worked as a hospital doctor at the RUH in Bath before returning to London qualifying as a GP in 2007. He was a GP partner in Brixton, London for several years before relocating to Bath in 2015. He is also a GP trainer. He lives in Bath with his wife and three young children. He keeps fit by running and endeavors to complete the Bath Half Marathon each year.
Dr K Rees
Partner
Working days: Tuesday, Thursday afternoon and Friday
MBChB Bsc MRCGP graduated in 2000 at Edinburgh University.
Dr Rees joined the surgery in 2005 and has been a GP partner since 2015.
Dr Rees has special interests in women’s health and dermatology including minor surgery.
Dr S Hurshman
Working days: Wednesday and Friday
BMBS Universities of Exeter and Plymouth 2014, MSc PHEC 2013, MRCGP 2019
Dr Hurshman qualified from medical school in 2014, she started her postgraduate training in Brighton, then moved to Bath where she completed her GP training. Dr Hurshman joined Heart of Bath permanently in 2020.
Dr Hurshman has a keen interest in medical student education.
Dr L Radevsky
Working days: CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE
Tuesday, Wednesday morning and Friday morning
MBChB (Bristol), Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Qualified Bristol 2014.
Dr Radevsky completed her GP training in Bath and has worked at HOB over the past year as a GP registrar, completing her training in 2020. She now continues her journey at Heart of Bath. Dr Radevsky studied medicine in Bristol after which she worked as a junior doctor at several hospitals in both Brighton and London, including a clinical fellowship role in paediatric A+E. In her spare time, she loves being in the sea with her family.
Dr Radevsky’s special interests include paediatrics and lifestyle medicine, Dr Radevsky has also completed a sleep training course for infants and CBTi for adults.
Dr K Mill
Working days: Monday morning, Tuesday and Friday
MB BS (London) 1997, MRCPCH, MRCGP.
Dr Mill qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster medical school in 1997. Kasia was a partner at number 18 surgery before it’s merger with Heart of Bath in 2018. She is married with two sons and in her spare time she loves cycling, dog walking and music.
Dr Mill’s areas of special interest include paediatrics, sexual health and dermatology.
Dr H Penhale
Working days: Wednesday and Friday morning
MBCHB Bristol 2009 MRCGP Hayley trained at the University of Bristol and graduated in 2009.
Dr Penhale completed her GP training in Bath and has enjoyed remaining in the South West. Hayley spent a few years working in Western Australia.
Dr Penhale has a particular interest in elderly care and general medicine.
Dr W Sankey
Working days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
MBChB BSC (Hons) (Edinburgh, 2006), MRCGP (Cornwall, 2013)
Dr Sankey joined the practice in September 2020. He has worked in general practice in Cornwall and London, emergency medicine in New Zealand and junior hospital roles around Southern Scotland. Outside work he enjoys kayaking, cycling and looking after two toddlers.
Dr Sankey’s areas of particular interest include men’s health, palliative care and ENT.
Dr E Fenlon
Working days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
BBS (University of London) BSc (Hons) MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Fenlon trained at St George’s Hospital Medical School and graduated in 2013. After completing her foundation years in Oxford, she began specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology. She later decided that a career in general practice was better suited to her and completed her GP training in Bath in 2020.
Dr Fenlon’s main interests are women’s and sexual health.
Dr H Bigby
Working days: Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday morning
MBBS (Newcastle University) MRCGP (2021)
Dr Bigby gained her medical degree from Newcastle University in 2013 before moving to Liverpool to complete her foundation years. She subsequently spent several years working in hospital specialties in Melbourne, Australia, prior to undertaking her GP training here in Bath. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, country hikes and travelling.
Dr Bigby’s areas of interest include clinical trials, ENT, dermatology and sexual health.
Dr A Oldham
Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
MA (Cantab), MBBS, MRCGP
Dr Oldham trained in Cambridge and London, qualifying in 2011. She completed her GP training in Northumberland (2018) then relocated to Bath. She worked as a GP in South Somerset for 5 years before joining Heart of Bath. Dr Oldham is married with 2 young children and in her spare time enjoys the outdoors, cold water swimming, yoga and baking.
Dr Oldham’s areas of interest are palliative care, mental health and she is a qualified GP trainer.
Dr G Neve
Working days: Tuesday morning and Friday
BSc MBChB (University of Bristol) DFSRH MSc MEd (Imperial College, London) MRCGP
Dr Neve obtained her medical degree from the University of Bristol in 2012 and moved to London for her foundation training. She remained in London to complete her GP training and was an academic clinical fellow at Imperial College. She continues to work at Imperial College in the undergraduate primary care department. Dr Neve returned to the Westcountry in early 2024 and is enjoying exploring the area with her young family and getting to know the local community.
Dr Neve holds a masters in paediatrics and child health as well as a masters in medical education. Her clinical areas of interest include paediatrics, women’s health and public health.
Dr T Patrick
Working days: Tuesday and Thursday
MBChB, BSc, nMRCGP, DFSRH, DRCOG
Trained in Leeds and Yorkshire, qualified in 2005. Completed GP training in London in 2010 and worked as a GP partner for 8 years in Brixton before moving to Bath in 2024. A big lover of the outdoors: camping; hiking; cold water swimming and horse riding in her spare time.
Dr Patrick’s special interests are lifestyle medicine, women’s health and menopause.
Dr R Gabriel
Working Days: Monday and Wednesday
Bsc Psychology, MBChB (Warwick), MRCGP
Dr Gabriel trained at Warwick Medical School as a graduate following completing a degree in Psychology in Plymouth. She graduated in 2015 and went on to complete her GP training in Bath. After working with us as a registrar and qualifying as a GP she decided to continue working with us.
Dr Gabriel’s special interests is Dermatology, specifically skin lesions and minor surgery.
Physician associates
Physician associates are new healthcare professionals who work to the medical model and function with the supervision of a GP.
Mr J Mackie
Working days: Monday to Friday
James has a background in musculoskeletal pain and treating sports injuries. He completed his physician associate studies course at St George’s Hospital, London, and has relocated to Bath to work as a physician associate at Heart of Bath Medical Partnership.
